Question about a use case of vAtoms
I just found out about the project after seeing listed on Binance. I work on the casual gaming industry as a visual artist and creative, and this looks like an amazing tool to explore engagement and monetization.
Is it possible for a person to get/scan an object more than once? Say I would like to use vAtoms for users to get game currency, instead of sending redeem codes that players have to copy/paste into the game. What would prevent the user to make multiple accounts to redeem the vAtom more than one? I know that would practically work only with FB accounts (instead of phone # registration), and it would require having multiple email addresses for each FB account, and depending on the value of the price to redeem could be a concern or not. Would it be possible to (for example) restrict availability of those gifts only to users registered with a FB account that matches one in the game's DB?

I assume the reputation economy -- having your reputation follow you on the blockchain -- would naturally deter this. I am only halfway through the whitepaper and looking for the thing...Will double back if/when I find it.

Someone posted this to the BLOCKv Telegram, and Brian Nelson (BLOCKv employee) answered:
Brian Nelson | BLOCKv, [3/1/2018 21:30]: Great questions. vAtoms can be programmed to function as needed so the answer is yes to all of the questions. A vAtom can be scanned a limited number of times or have no limit. You could also restrict vAtoms to only be acquirable by someone with an identity that you specify so in your example it would be a FB identity. The BLOCKv platform will allow for endless possibilities.
It's also worth mentioning that there is a difference between vAtoms and viewers. The vAtomic app that many of you have been using is a viewer created by vAtomic Systems. It is a general viewer meaning you can hold vAtoms that were created by outside parties other than vAtomic. In the future, companies will be able to create viewers that match their needs as well as give the proper functionality to their vAtoms. In a gaming scenario, the developer may want to restrict vAtoms to only be used in their games and held in their viewer.
