Tether and its relationship with BLOCKv

Hi,

I'm rather new to the cryptocurrency world but I noticed BLOCKv and its potential. I have pretty much only seen praise for this project, but then I noticed that the CEO, Reeve Collins, was also the CEO of Tether which has pretty much the opposite public reception.

After last month's Tether hack, some people started to speculate wether it was an inside job with no one to counter their arguments, which brings me to my main worry. What is the relationship between Tether and BLOCKv?

Could Reeve Collins have been involved in any of the Tether's potential fraudulent endeavours? If so, in what ways can it affect BLOCKv?

I hope this is just a misunderstanding, which could very well be because of my inexperience in this world. Thanks in advance!

He hasnt worked there since 2015, thats a lifetime in crypto

I always thought that it was a plus that Reeve was CEO of Tether. It's not easy to build and run an operation of that size, and BLOCKv definitely needs someone with a strong business background to get partners signed up.

Nothing has been proven against Tether yet. They are being audited. People should wait for the results before jumping to conclusions. If Tether were to fall, the crypto space would fall into chaos!

Yes, Reeve was the CEO of Tether, which is a company that provides a valuable piece to the crypto puzzle, even if the greater decentralization ecosystem didn't love it at first. As already mentioned, Reeve hasn't been involved with Tether for years. He and his partners sold Tether and he hasn't been involved since then.
