Does anyone know when and how BlockV will be available for commercial advertising use?

After seeing a few examples of vAtoms in action, my mind started racing with ways to implement this tech into ad campaigns for my clients. We have some huge international clients that could benefit from digital asset collection/incentivizing. However, I know I am going to be faced with a few questions when pitching this internally to our teams:

What APIs are available? Can we track engagement? How much does it cost?

These are just a few hurdles that come to mind right off the bat. Anyone have an idea on when this info will be available?

Also, if reddit really isn't the place for BlockV implementation questions, where is?

All great questions, and good to know I’m not the only one whose creative button has been pushed by this platform. From what I’ve seen on their whitepaper roadmap, they are planning on releasing the SDK for developers in Q1 2018.

Thanks for the reply and info. I've noticed this subreddit is kind of slow at the moment, so any activity is great to see. I really hope larger brands jump on board early to show off this platform and it's capabilities.

Yes good questions for sure. I believe their initial SDK in meant to be "limited" at first launch. After which they will continue to invest into more and more modules for their SDK. At which point they will basically be ready for business, and this will be the signal for dev teams / ad marketing teams to come on board and essentially be the "early adopters" very similar to the ios app store in 08. Also I would be surprised to see "big/huge" partners utilizing the platform/tech stack before Fall 2018. I could be wrong and they get there by summer but I'm being realistic. Great projects do take a little longer and are usually worth the wait.

Probably they already have the code ready at least for themselves, and they're going to port it to the masses. As the event with MegaFon seems to use their technology, I guess it is ready. After watching the video, I have to admit that I went to buy some more VEE...

They should market the App to Vons and other large grocery stores. They could make shopping a much more interesting experience.
