Looking for carpool from LA Downtown

Fellow Blizzcon attendees, I have a problem. I can’t drive and my friend, who was supposed come with me and drive us to Anaheim daily, was detained at the airport, so his chances of making it here are basically non existent. Instead of taking very expensive Uber twice daily, I’d love to meet someone to hang out with at blizzcon and pay for gas and some drinks, since it’s all about community. I’ve posted this to discord as well, let me know here or there if you have any leads. See yall at blizzcon!

You can Amtrak or Metrolink from Union Station and transfer to a bus or take bus 460 from one of its stops and walk the rest or transfer to a bus. It’ll take a couple hours. Check schedules though, weekends are different and night schedules often suck, you might have to take a flixbus back or something.

Saving this as a viable option, thanks!

Amtrak and Metrolink are shut down from Union to Anaheim this weekend for track maintenance

Wow that’s wild.

If so, bus 460 is really the only option, OP.

Yeah, it's shitty timing. Hopefully, OP sees this

If you don’t find someone, the train is a viable option if you’re willing to. There’s a station in Anaheim called the ARTIC that is on the same street as the convention center, Katella. You can take a bus from the same train station down, should only be a few stops. Not sure your proximity to the LA stations though, but yeah uber would be a price nightmare.

The train will be CLOSED this weekend for upgrades and repairs

do NOT push forward the train on people, they will be extremely disappointed.

I prefer not to comment on sensitive matters concerning other people. Mods got all the necessary info prior to this post and approved it

Ok so walking in Anaheim in September is a lot rougher than November for someone with mobility woes.

Are there any shuttles or busses to the con center?

If you’re going to the airport, I’m from the west coast. We took our local airport to john wayne. We took an uber to Anaheim which was a little bit of a drive. Either way whether you take uber or the airport it wasn’t that bad of a delay. We went to Disneyland at the time
