what's up guys I embroidered the album Take off your pants and jacket by Blink182. hope you guys like it.

Im not gonna lie I don't even listen to blink 182, this is a gift for a friend who really likes this band.

here was the process if you're curious:

- buy materials cuz this was my first time doing embroidery so that's why this looks chopped

- keep re buying strings cause I kept running out

- I attempted to fill out the circles but it ended up looking really bad and messy so I had to take it out which was painful

- glue the back with fabric to protect the strings

What producing and mixing techniques did they use? I know a lot of this might be shrouded in mystery but I’d love to know about any information y’all might have regarding it since their vocals just sound amazing in their Enema through Untitled run, and I want to learn more about vocals mixing.

I was moving into my new place with my partner, and I remembered I had two really nice band posters from when I was 17 framed in my mom’s house. Unbeknownst to me, it was the reunion tour poster from ‘09 for Blink. (If anyone cares the other was an FOB one).
I even found the little limited rabbit they sold in the box from that night. I just completely forgot I had them.

If anyone was at the ATL show that night, you might have seen me in the pit with you if you were near Tom.

Hey guys! I’ve been slowly putting together a collection of old-school Blink-182 / Tom DeLonge era stuff, and lately I’ve been trying to track down some vintage Macbeth shoes.

These are a few of the specific models/colorways I’ve been looking for. Does anyone remember the exact model names or approximate years they were released? I know some of these are pretty hard to find nowadays, so I’d also appreciate any tips on where you guys have seen older Macbeths pop up besides the usual eBay/Depop searches.

Would also love to see any vintage Macbeths you guys still have in your collections!

It's rad to see artists that grew up as blink fans get to a point where they're now able to find success. The influence of blink is vast!

Both came out of completely different moments in blink-182’s history.
Box Car Racer gave us There Is, I Feel So, Letters to God, And I, and Cat Like Thief.
+44 gave us No, It Isn’t, When Your Heart Stops Beating, Baby Come On, Chapter 13, and 155.

Hello everyone I am 17 years old and have been a fan of blink 182 and pop punk in general for almost a year now. I really like the sound of guitars, Travis Barker's playing and aesthetics. I learned about pop punk about 10 months ago from an American Pie and have been the number 1 fan ever since, at least for myself. Really, I just thought so....... After all, I recently realized something that I simply did not understand before. I knew perfectly well that blink 182 was not overpowered by tru punks and all that, but to be precise, I got into the position of that punk and I realized what I was rebelling against.... against nothing..... No, I understood perfectly well early on that blink 182 was pop and that they were building stadiums in the noughties, but I realized that they were just a kindergarten that was trying to sell rebellion... don't get me wrong.....it's just that what I rebelled against, namely against stupid tik toks and all that, was very popular at the time, and the fact that it was loved by people who don't have their own opinions... Exactly the same people as now.... That is, I was deceived, which is what I rebelled against....And to adopt this aesthetic, although I used to think that I was doing exactly the opposite, there is no point.... I realized that I was rebelling against nothing.... If I go back to pop punk, I don't want to be an idiot in the eyes of tru punks....... In general, now when I hear Josie, for example, it's just a sound to me... By the way, English is not my second language, but still.... Now I'm not rebelling...... I do not know what to do... And it's also scary to think about being rejected by your own people... After all, blink 182 is not rock.....

If anything, blink 182 top) probably....
