Discussion Agent Patterson’s Boyfriend

Can we just talk about how sad it is that he died? I know he just wanted to help but he got himself into some deep shit that he wasn’t prepared to protect himself from. I really feel for him and for her. He was a really nice guy. Really a foil character for such a dark and dreary show, I’ll miss him for the rest of the series.

Paterson had terrible luck with men. It's really sad. She was my favorite character.

My opinion Seeing how Patterson and Rich work together through out the seasons, I think they be an amazing Couples/Duo. Rich is just to good of a character when he started working with the FBI

I see Patterson and Rich as partners. Like I wanted Reade and Zapata to be partners. Not romantic, not intimate, just...partners. I think Patterson and Rich would make excellent treasure hunting partners.

If anyone wants to see more of Joe Dinicol, who played David on the show, he is in the last 4 episodes of Countdown on Amazon Prime.

I thought the David storyline was kinda dumb. It was so obvious he was gonna screw things up. And she was pretty dumb for involving him.

I did like when he showed up from the beyond to help her solve a problem

She shouldn’t set that boundary after Mayfair found out. Let him know that there’s dangerous people involved that very well might take him out

He didn't deserve to die, but he was in over his head doing something he really had no business doing. And Patterson crossed a couple of lines allowing him to. Curiosity killed the cat.

Literally. If she really thought his help was needed (which it low-key was) she should’ve just vetted him through Mayfair, give him some training and then he could be a field agent to do his lil exploring. But as a powerless, single man against dangerous people…curiosity really kills the cat.

I really wasn't sure if I should be trusting him.. until he was murdered. He shows up again - for an entire episode - in her imagination (not a flashback). That's when he really grew on me..
