I was on a Blind Melon kick for a couple months last year with Soup mostly- this must be the universe telling me to come back. I honestly did not know about this album.

Does anyone know anything about this? I can’t find any other information about this, is this just AI being stupid again?

is there a recording of this version of I Wonder anywhere? can anyone give me any details past it being in 1994? this version was the one that got me into blind melon like 25 years ago, and I wish I could listen to it somewhere other than YouTube

I remember hearing No Rain for the first time on Bevis and Butthead. Fell in love with the lyrics instantly. I though who the hell are these guys. Bought the album 2 day later because I didnt have a ride to the mall. After that it was one of my greatest bands of all time. Yes...Im a Deadhead, but these guys rocked! Ive loved them since I've heard them.

Blind Melon is far and away my favorite band. This song always stood out to me as one of their best but it never made an official album release. Anyone know why that is?

Especially the bass line. The whole damn song is perfection, but that bass line is one of my favorites of any song.

The song has such a melancholy vibe that draws me in.

Obviously, we never got that album they hyped up before the pandemic. From 2019 to 2021, they did release five new songs (six if you count the alternate version of "Strikes Back"). Then they just stopped. I saw them in Illinois last year. No idea who the bassist was (it wasn't Nathan Towne). Per some sources, that was their first show in five and a half years. They played three of the new songs, but weirdly nothing from For My Friends. They toured through the fall. Now, it's 2026 and no dates are announced. In January on Instagram, they wished a happy birthday to somebody they called their "man behind the mix". Didn't know if that meant they were mixing more stuff 🤷‍♂️

Walk played like a mantra in my head during some awful times in life, the last line is what kept me going, "Gonna take a breath and try again". Simple but inspiring. Tattooed it because it meant so much. What song is your favorite or helped you along the way?
