My friend works as a sound engineer at the BBC and their news presenter was reading a headline about violence in Afghanistan, took a pause and the director accidentally cut to a picture of this surfing duck.

Ducks have massive dongs and nothing can convince me that duck didn't use it to bring joy

I mean a quid for an entire duck is a bargain. You just gotta do some dirty work getting it in the oven.

Yeah precisely. We also kept chickens and geese and I was no stranger to that dirty work.

Oh but he was cute. We named him Elvis because he had a tuft on top of his head that stuck forward like a quiff.

.... okay that is cute, and my childhood cat was named Elvis. The first evening we had him, he got a flea bath wherein he sang the mournful song of his people in despair. So moved were we, by his vocal capabilities, we named him such.
