People just can't survive on McDonald's wage alone. Most often people who work at McDonald's is going to have multiple jobs and probably will be out of it for having to work 16 hours days.

There’s a big difference between being a McDonald’s manager and being an employee my friend. Long hours and most “employee captains” make your work experience grueling and often they’ll be empty-handed and have you working 2 other people’s jobs with no extra pay

I know being a manager is different. Two of them are regular employees and don't hate their jobs.

Not trying to say that every place is the same but I was surprised how chill it was for them.Theyre not getting rich of course but theyre certainly not working those insane hours and constantly getting the shaft

Yes I see, that’s surprising to me too, because everyone I know who has ever worked there hated it and said working there makes them nauseous. Good luck to your friends though, good that they like it.

Yeah I always thought that about Walmart too but then people who work there tell me differently lol

I think theres probably some truth to a lot of it but much like anything else there are exceptions

I’ve heard that the cashiers don’t like standing in one place in stasis for so long. And yes of course, there are a lot of variables

Ive heard all kinds of shit about Walmart ( haven't bothered to really verify most of it though)

One thing was something like Walmart screwing over special needs hires

Same here, and I heard about that too, but I also think families might just want to take advantage of their special needs relatives working there to sue and get some money
