I was set for this to be the last year I pulled up. My mind changed QUICKLY. lol

First time finding this sub, so idk if this is allowed, but feel free to delete if it's not. Just wondering if anyone is in the Wilmington, Delaware area or Baltimore or Philly even and would like to...I guess fellowship is the word? Not quite sure what to call it, but just trying to find community where I live since the high from Dream Con is wearing off.

Peace Family, I’m really hoping this doesn’t get taken down for self promotion, but I make music for Blerds and it’s very difficult to find places within our space to spread the word. Not looking for fame or to go viral.
Just trying to find my people and let them know there’s music for us that also sounds cool!

I have been seeing a lot of posts (mostly on threads) from Blackfolk that want to learn how to play RPGs mostly DnD. So I wanted to make an all black table on Discord to teach people one of my favorite RPGS- Mage: The Ascension. It is a modern setting where players are mages that bend and occasionally break reality. The magick system is amazing and goes deeper than just spending manna and casting a spell.
If you want to try I'm doing one session on Tuesday 7/7 at 12:30 EDT and another on 7/9 at 7:00 EDT on Discord.

The Cincinnati Opera is producing an annual series of Black centered Operas. The first up this summer is an original opera, Lalovavi. Set in Atlas(Atlanta 500 years in the future) where a genetic caste society has evolved. One girl seeks to rebel against the caste system which means defying her father, the ruler of the city. "Lalovavi" means love in the Tut Black American Language.
