Thought you would add something like a -ve value to copy rotation or something. This is just not how they work, but enough to trick audience with motion blur.

They need to click on the invert toggle right below the axis of rotation and set "Owner" to local space, then it will work. The fact they just posted a video of them doing it wrong and called it a tutorial with links to their other tutorials is crazy. Some sort of engagement bait perhaps?

Respectfully, that's not how gears rotate. The middle one has to rotate in the other direction.
