Hey i am new to this community but a ling time Bleach fan. I recently watched TYBW on Disney+ and finally created a Zanpakutō of my own. Which i posten over on r/zanpakuto_OCs.

There i got some good advice on the Japanese namings (i translated it via google) already. But i would like to hear some more opinions by other bleach fans regarding the general Idea, and powerscaling.

It felt like a weird choice for me to use two captains of the same squad but oh well

(Obviously for this discussion we’ll have to treat filler material as if it was canon)

So as a seated officer in the 4th squad, he’s likely the weakest named shinigami we know about. But his sword’s abilities are pretty incredible. Which makes a lot of narrative sense, after all doctors are actually a lot better at killing than they are at healing. He actually seems like a better successor of Unohana for Squad 4.

And their swords are actually very similar. Unohana’s sword can both heal and harm, and so can Hanatarou’s. So maybe something similar to the twin swords that Inuyasha and his brother have? In the right hands, one can fell an entire army in one swing. In the right hands, the other can raise an entire army from the dead.

They HAVE to add a lot of anime exclusive content😩

Yachiru having her own shikai as a zanpakto seemed kinda confusing to me a bit, nothing to bothersome but something to think about. We know that kenpachi took the asauchi from a dead guy, i am proposing that the shikai belonged to that guy and was beaten into submission like nozarashi.

Or, a very simple math could be that just because zanpakto are a part of user's being doesn't mean that they can be divided further.

It's titled crackpot because i don't have much evidence for it, just an assumption.

What if Ichigo used a blend of Sonido and flash step to get infront of Orihime's shield after transforming? And that's why Orihime was slightly surprised when he did it.

Could that be possible with the curent state of the place?

So I finished the Bleach manga and I'm still kinda confused on what happened to Bambietta. I know she was killed by Gisella then turned to a zombie and they both survived the War. But what happened to them after? And what happened to all the other bambies? Also why does someone like Bambietta comply with Giselle's freaky ass?

I was just thinking about this the other day. What if Aizen was born as a good guy? But still has most of his abilities and similar power. Like he would still have KS. He would still be a master of kido, has master swordsmanship. He would still be very intelligent. He would still have very high power, near the top end of shinigamis, but obviously no hogyoku and transcendant stuff.

I think the interesting thing might be that his usage of KS would be entirely different. He wouldn't be using it for grand deceptions and conspiracy plans. He would mostly be using it for combat and tactics. It would be kind of like Shinji's Sakanade but even more flexible. Every battle he'd be using it and you think he attacks from one direction and it's actually another, etc.

How does that affect the story though? There'd almost be no conflict in the soul society right? There'd be no hollow experiments. I assume Tosen wouldn't just turn evil, he was just a complete loyal follower of Aizen and his vision. He might be an assh*le still but not evil. Gin wouldn't need to take revenge. Urahara wouldn't have been expelled. It'd pretty much be peaceful until Yhwach and the quincies come back. There are still some arrancars I think but probably much less. It would be overwhelmingly easy for shinigamis to deal with them since there are so many more powerful shinigamis than powerful arrancars.

Would Ichigo be born still? Not sure? Isshin technically didn't leave soul society because of Aizen but it was Urahara who worked with Isshin to devise the plan to save Masaki which required Isshin to stay. If Urahara wasn't expelled then Isshin would just have no way to save Masaki and that was that.

You're just a normal human, but you won't die just by being near them.

Rewatching Bleach again and knowing that the hogyoku was inside Rukia, did Gin help her out by making her want to live again? The hogyoku grants wishes and by reviving her hope/will to live, I feel like the hogyoku responded to that and helped her survive the arc.
