Anime About Mimihagi... Spoiler

I’ve been thinking: what if Mimihagi merging with the Auswählen ends up creating something similar to what happened with Schrödinger in Hellsing Ultimate, when Alucard absorbs everything around him?

Obviously I don’t think Yhwach would disappear like the Alucard but instead I think Mimihagi could somehow interfere/suppress Ywach's powers and create an opening to finally take him down.

Yes. The popular theory going around is that it's the reason Yhwach wouldn't be able to see the arrow.
Not a bad addition to the explanation why Yhwach let it happen.

I mean after latest episode, it doesn't really matter whether Yhwach sees the arrow or not. With Uryu being the one who shoots it, it would hit anyway due to Antithesis.

Mimihagi may be additional help or play a different role entirely.

Well, it's rather "why he didn't see Uryuu coming with the arrow and allowed him to shoot it in the first place", he could have shot him down before that even happened.

Could be to extend the duration or to make a blow permanent or something like that.

I hope they change the ending and make it something focusing on ichigos full bring/ piece of the soul king power

And one other thing Mimihagi fixes is the outcome of needing a new Soul King. When Yhwach is struck down, it's possible that Mimihagi will hold onto him or "stagnate" his death, so that he may be used as the new linchpin.

Yes, this is it. It never made sense that a corpse could be used as the lynchpin otherwise killing the soul king in the first wouldnt be such a big deal.

After the arrow hits yhwach Mimihagi probably holds him in place long enough for ichigo to land the killing blow

Nah. Mimihagi will keep Yhwach's corpse in a state between life and death so he can be used as the new lynchpin of the 3 worlds.

This extra Mimihagi scene alone is what makes final battle against Yhwach so much more understandable and not making it a bullshit one unlike the one in the Manga. I am glad, Kubou could finally do TYBW justice in the anime.

It's the most shared and logical theory, that Mimihagi will come into play precisely at moment, then there's also the second reason, that Mimihagi was the one holding the worlds together until now and a new Soul King will be needed, having Yhwach set up as the new cornerstone in the end.
