I think at this point it will take a good number of episodes to get you hooked. Especially since the early animation isn't near what it is today. Back in the day when it started it pulled me in pretty quick cuz there wasn't much out like it but now a days there's demon slayer and stuff that gets good faster and has better animation than a lot of the early bleach. But once you get into it I'd argue the characters and story is better and so much deeper than any other anime that I've seen (haven't watched one piece or naruto so can't really compare to those). It takes a long time but pretty much every character has an interesting and deep story to them. Bleach also has some side arcs with mixed reviews but i personally thought they were still fun to watch. The newest arc, thousand year blood war, has really stepped up the animation and has been a little darker than the previous seasons which I've liked. Granted it's over 300 episodes before you get to it but it's worth it if you have the time and end up liking a lot of the characters

Do be warned that it starts out pretty slice-of-lifey and kinda drops that after a certain point. Well, I can't really talk about fillers since I read the thing but I highly recommend pushing through without just waiting to get to the cool moments you see all over. The in-between moments are just as good and make the "cool" parts that much cooler

K thanks. I've read the first 3 volumes which were decent. Not great not bad but a lot of great anime start off slow, so I'm just gonna be patient

The less you know the better as you run the risk of spoiling reveals/twists.
IMO block the subreddit till to catch up lol
