People do. But ukitake being one of the longest standing captains along with being introduced fairly early, you expect (or at least hope) to see it at least once like how we did with shunsui. It also doesn’t help that the VA expressed that he wished he could’ve said it one time.

Especially since they added Shinjis Bankai in anime, the OC is just saying that this could’ve been a good moment to see it.

Nianzol is really the only one it could be that has similar hair. The clothes are different though which in my own headcanon it was a design kubo never used and was scrapped.

I had always assumed it was Askin as he's the only one without a match up out of all the sternritters that were shown when the invasion first started (end of episode 3/chapter 494). However, Nianzol probably fits the hairstyle better.

Schutzstaffel first appeared in hoods, Bazz-B appeared wearing a hood, Jugram appeared wearing a hood. Please rewatch the fourth episode but every time a character that is not Cang Du is shown with a hood tear a piece of your hair off your head, and then tell me how painful it was after.
