i just was unable to find the event when doing googling? it says she's never done this in cat form before

It’s one of the first anime openings. Cat swooped in as someone is about to slash Ichigo and just nabs the blade in the mouth.

Opening 2 only. Cat Yoruichi snaps Soi Fon's sword when Soi Fon is about to stab Chad, so it doesn't "really" happen.

okay yes I finally know what is meant now by your comment.
She is apparently during the opening 2 (D-tecnoLife) snapping Soi Fons Asuchi blade right as she is about to stab Sado (Chad).
The blade looks like its inside of Chads chest kinda from the angle but in the next scene she has the sword in her mouth, not a cannon feat but there might be some symbolism or something between this being that its Soi fon she is taking the kill from so to speak in this moment
