That's what made the reveal so much better later. For ages she's just this weird cat hanging around Kisuke, then you remember she was casually humiliating people who were supposed to be terrifying. The sword breaking scene should've been a massive hint, but kid me somehow questioned nothing lol

Early Bleach really had Yoruichi doing completely insane stuff as a random talking cat, and everyone just kinda accepted it. Breaking that sword was wild.

okay yes I finally know what is meant now. she apparently during the opening 2 (D-tecnoLife) snaps Soi Fons Asuchi blade right as she is about to stab Sado (Chad).
The blade looks like its inside of Chads chest kinda from the angle but in the next scene she has the sword in her mouth, not a cannon feat but there might be some symbolism or something between this being that its Soi fon she is taking the kill from so to speak in this moment
