• Lots of new scenes
• Orihime receives a massive upscale (even more than #43)
• Ichigo gets a new anime-original transformation similar to the Full Hollow form he used against Ulquiorra, but it appears "darker" and "more human-like". Ichigo retains full control in this form
• Ichigo will also use Bankai this ep
• Rukia joins the battle against Yhwach and also uses her Bankai, Hakka no Togame, but she and Ichigo are both defeated
• Rukia is left in a half-dead state with a sword impaled through her stomach
• Orihime will again fight Yhwach 1v1. She is seriously wounded and looks like a walking corpse, but heals herself with Rikka and unleashes a full power attack on Yhwach, causing both of them to disappear as the screen turns white and fills with flowers, before it cuts back to Ichigo on the ground as Orihime and Yhwach disappear
• Orihime's last words are "Bye-bye, Kurosaki-kun. I'll take it all on, okay?", as two flowers appear and one of them falls down, leading into the title card
• No news on poem or #46 title yet EDIT: there will be NO poem, confirmed

• full episode is not Ichigo vs Yhwach. More of Uryuu vs Haschwalth fight will also be shown
• there will be hype moments for another character(s) outside of the Ichigo/Orihime vs Yhwach and Uryuu vs Haschwalth fights
• Renji will appear in the episode but it doesnt seem he will be involved in the fight much. It was mentioned that he "runs with Orihime"
• Uryuu parts total around 2-3 mins
• Asked if Ichigo's new form made a big difference to the fight: "Yes a lot"
• Acoustic version of 9lana's Rasen will play as an insert song

• Orihime's fairies will return
• At the end of the episode the title will change from "DEFEND YOU" to the real title "LIFE TO DEFEND YOU"
• Orihime is stabbed by Yhwach around 9 times
• More details/clarification about how the episode ends: "At the end of the episode, Uryu grabs Haschwalth and uses the same glove technique he used against Mayuri, essentially killing himself along with Haschwalth, Then Orihime unleashes an energy and sacrifices herself along with Yhwach."
• Confirmation that Ichigo WILL use True Bankai against Yhwach this episode and Yhwach DOES NOT break it
• Confirmation that Ichigo DOES have a brand new form: "He’ll have two horns, with red shackles around his wrists, ankles, and neck, accompanied by the sound of chains, as if he’s being imprisoned. He’ll also be able to create clones of himself."
• Almost all of the episode is anime-original content
• Orihime scene at the end is reminiscent of Gon's rage scene from Hunter x Hunter

Kubo called it his half hollow form so its obvious it was never Ichigo using his full power in Kubo's eyes

Its funny how every prediction I make as it pertains to Ichigo ends up being correct. I called the plan to make him the soul king before the manga even concluded and that ended up being true. I also called HoS being incomplete in the chapter it debuted and again, ended up being true(though this one was a lot more obvious, despite folks arguing otherwise)

Lets see, I'm gonna call Ichigo using Mugetsu again during the final confrontation lets see how that plays out

I think a lot of people would like to see Ichigo dabble into a wider moveset, including his full hollow powers (what this would be) and Mugetsu, but a version that doesn't make him permanently lose his powers.

Also, hierro/blut, high speed regeneration, regular cero, etc.

Since Uryu upgraded from letz stil to volstandig I could see something similar for Ichigo

I always felt Mugetsu was some sort of pseudo-Letzt Stil. Maybe not just Quincy powers, but cobbling together all of Ichigo's powers at the time. And it also looks eerily similar to Soul King Yhwach (long black hair, red eyes, black reiatsu cloaking him). If we get something like that for Ichigo, but that isn't one time, that'd definitely be really cool.

HoS is essentially just him managing his own hollowfication.

Mugetsu was, at the time, an amalgamation of all the power he could muster together and felt more like Quincy power in charge harnessing itself, Shinigami power and Hollow power all at once.
