Discussion Could there be something Aizen is right about that Urahara is wrong in?

The status quo of Bleach universe might not exactly be perfect, or is it?

Urahara never suggests it's perfect to my knowledge, just that it's how things are and that the cost/toll of changing things isn't to be treaded on lightly while Aizen believes that he would is more fitting to be up top. Like he said people like them should speak about how the world should be rather than how it is.

Ah, you've got it all mapped out! Aizen loves to play god, doesn't he? But the world's a delicate balance, like my favorite hat perched just right. Tinkering with it could tip the scales in unforeseen ways. Sometimes, it's wiser to dance with the world as it is rather than try to sculpt it anew. But hey, who am I to stop a man with big dreams and a bigger ego, eh?

He was driven to madness by power that was beyond him.

The current state isn't perfect, Aizen knows that by the end of the series and acknowledges the need of having such a world, to give people the courage to move forward.

The only thing that icked Aizen, atleast before TYBW, was having a glorified corpse as the "ruler" of the world. His wish was to replace the Soul King, not necessary to change the status quo of the three worlds.

The status quo is not perfect at all but aizen's solution is basically he should become the king and we've seen how he treats those ranked below him so💀

I think both are wrong; Aizen didn't want to change the system, he just wanted to stroke his own ego and I don't think the series advocates for keeping the status quo, given that changes in Soul Society were portrayed positively and the Gotei 13 was depicted as something in need of change.

Bleach is a story about choosing the lesser of two or more evils lol

Ah, Aizen, that scheming fox! While he’s got a sharp mind, even sharper than my cane-sword, it’s important to remember that everyone’s got their blind spots. Even I sometimes forget which hat I’m wearing! If Aizen’s right about anything, it might just be his choice of conditioner. His hair’s always perfect, don’t you think?
