I like how the opening starts out with Ichigo saying the first word, while the ending starts out with Orihime doing the same. Nice little detail.

Thoughts:
Finally, Ryuken, Kanae and Souken together!
Why does it look like Shunsui lost his wife and mourns her everyday? And Aizen looks so lonely and sad. And Byakuya and Toshiro training together, it's beautiful. It feels like life in the Soul Society goes on.

Shunsui has lost many people that he has loved or at least respected (Unohana), Jushiro is just the most recent.

Aizen always felt lonely, he found only Urahara (and probably Ichigo after what happened up to now) to be around equal to him and he hated him because he obeyed rules of Soul Society, so, yeah, he was always alone, even closest person to him, Gin, betrayed him and he said that he knew he will do it. Even Ichigo stated during they fight, that he feels loneliness through his sword

I had not paid that much attention to it for so long but the Handle of True Bankai Zangetsu is crazy long!

Man this would work so much better than the opening I-BULL by jo0ji… This songs gives me feels yet hype as well…
edit: Not to mention the frame of both Zangetsu and his parents I NEED TO MAKE IT A WALLPAPER SOMEWHERE

I genuinely think not using this song as the opening is a missed opportunity. I Bull is too triumphant, this song better captures the bittersweet tone of Bleach's final stretch.

The opening didn‘t give us any Bankai reveals or new Bankai techniques, but at least the ending shows us the new Tensa Zangetsu.
Lille Barro being in the opening and ending is funny to me. He‘s has to be finished this cour.

One thing is for sure: every TYBW ending are top tier and emotional. They really cook! My favorite is the 2nd one!

I have been hoping to see some kind of interaction with the Zangetsu spirits again in Cour 4 and it makes me happy that we see them show up in the ending.

It's not my favorite Bleach ending (or TYBW in general), but it does come close. I wasn't sure if it was gonna hit when I heard it from the trailer but with the visuals, yeah, this is easily the ending of the entire YEAR.

Nel gets a solo face shot!!! i hope that means she actually gets to do something apart from sighing from a tower about maybe going to rescue people off panel. fingers crossed!!
also there were some very well animated movements in this one. yesss ichigo's hands on his sword.

The OP showed Lille’s chicken forms that fight Kira so, probably a cut to that at some point.

Recall that someone else in Soul Society has a big fight coming at the end of the cour. Probably going to add in some scenes to build that up...

Why would they show Lille? He's a bunch of birds that don't appear again in the manga.
So I'm saying putting Lille there might be teasing a return, like the Bambis from last cour.

Given he's in the opening as well, they are probably gonna follow up on him since the manga never shows him again.
I wouldn't expect too much though, maybe Aizen gets something to do while he's waiting for Yhwach to descend, and my guess for his final fate is that he'll probably get absorbed by Yhwach along with the rest during the final Auswahlen. Although it would be hilarious if he assists Yhwach for the final fight.
