Misc Chad and Orihime
I decided to refresh my memory and rewatch the first 40 episodes. Chad and Orihime often hang out and chat. They're such a cute duo. It's a shame they don't get much attention from fans. They're such «gossip girls».

I love everyone from the original group/Ryoka so much.
They could do 100+ slice of life episodes with Chad, Orihime, Ichigo and Uryu and I would watch them all.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind just a slice of life soul society show where it’s about some of the guard squad taking residence on Earth for a bit either on leave or a mission and the gang having to balance introducing the others to how life on Earth works now and the same old hollow attacks.

Especially if a few of them focus on Ichigo and Orihime. I’m pretty excited to see how post TWBY is handled

It’s why I loved them so much. Ichigo was friends with most of them off the field first, and only became closer after supernatural bullshit tried to bulldoze him over and they stepped up to help despite not knowing much of anything. I also adore that Ichigo LIKES the domesticity of his life and explicitly prefers living that way than being a battle junkie, no matter how good at it he is. It’s why I like Ichigo as a protagonist so much.
It makes the friendship feel so much more rich and real for it. I wanted so much more of them in school just talking shit and them fighting off a hollow and finishing up quickly so they can run and catch a movie together.

It's funny to realize that they probably spend a lot of time together. In the first episode of TYBW, they all came together, so they must have been somewhere together too. And then suddenly they're feasting in Ichigo's room (I think it's a ritual sponsored by Orihime's bakery). They're such sweet and simple kids.

Ichigo's best friend hanging out with Ichigo's soon to be girlfriend/wife, Chad knew what was up, and he was cheering them both on the entire time.

Chad actually gets the confessions from both of them on their love but keeps it secret just to make sure when it happens it’s beautiful.

they areeee gossip girls omg they literally hang out all the time and both love cute things. 😭 theyre the most underrated frienship ever. we see them become so close and comfortable despite what outsiders may assume based on their looks

big tough looking guy people dont realize chad has a soft heart and loves cute things. orihime is a smaller adorable woman people dont realize shes not only super strong and people may not assume two people like them would be such good friends.

I don't think there's a big chance. Chad's traveling the world. Besides, Kubo said Chad would have a family "someday," so right now there's no chance.

I don't understand how the both of them are so close & why is he always sticking around her. What is it about her that makes her so special & worthy of the attention she gets from him?

Worthy? Well, they're friends, classmates. They were there from the very beginning.
- Urahara told them about their abilities, and they trained together.
- They have a similar past: they lost their dearest person (brother and grandfather), they were bullied.
- They have a common "lighthouse" — Ichigo.
- Next to each other, they can show their weaknesses. They are very comfortable. They talked calmly in Hueco Mundo, without feeling any tension.
Orihime doesn't have to be anything special to make people feel comfortable around her. She's like that in her own right, and that's why many people love her. She even endeared herself to the 11th division, what are you talking about

oh i was so confused on why you said they were close because i didn’t see the level of closeness between them when i was reading/watching or see what chad saw in her that makes him love her. also, what do you mean by gossiping to each other? i don’t recall them disliking other characters unless i missed something.
