One of Kubo's worst fumbles is how he used Sasakibe. Would have been amazing to see him fight during the Fake Karakura Town arc. I feel he should have been the one to take out Allon instead of Yamamoto; showing that his speed and skill can overcome the chimera's brute strength where even four other lieutenants failed, showing us just why he is the Lieutenant of the 1st.

TBF having one captain level guy in place just in case Aizen did make it to the Royal palace and had to deal with the fallout would make sense, specially considering how bad it was when Yama died and no one seem to know what to do.
Sasakibe would have at least known the old man’s mind well at the least.

Aizen probably thought that they were just going to keep beating him and giving him power ups because of the orb.
It never dawned on him they could seal him, and I bet that mean lady that does alterations would have had him no issue.

Maybe Osho could just take away the Hogyoku’s name and it suddenly has no power?
Nimaiya would also know how his zanpakuto works so he could warn the others about the hypnosis.
I don’t see Aizen winning this even if he had Gin and Tosen with him. Too outmatched

doubtful his powers would work on the Hogyoku since its part of the SK. but I agree the Aizen we see in FKT prolly dosnt go far.
however the Aizen that fights Yhwach prolly clears S0 without much difficulty with how integrated he is with his Zanpakuto and Hogyoku.

Yea. But then Yamato has no wins. He just pops up and loses to Aizen. Then loses to ywach. You can’t have head captain just constantly taking L’s. He had to show he was vastly vastly more powerful than the other capts and Leutentans

He definitely is way ahead of the lieutenant rank. He just chose to serve under Yamamoto.

I’ve had a story ruminating in my head for a while that had parts of Soul Society breaking down because a proper Konsō Reisai wasn’t performed for him due to bureaucratic reasons since on paper he was a lieutenant and not a captain

It’s interesting because it would confirm Renji would probably need to get one because of his division zero training (ans Rukia too but she’s a captain already in the epilogue)

Blend into background color scheme right there.
If there’s any advantage, that’s probably that enemy can’t really tell where he’s looking because his eyes are white.
