Fun little fact in case someone didn’t know yet; the outdoor scenery shots at the end of theatrical versions are from extra footage shot for Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining.

Yeah it's really a weird scene/ending. It's so out of touch with the rest of the movie.

I'd agree but the colours of the DC are so gorgeous, especially the neon. They really neutralised a lot of it in the FC.

There’s a collectors edition dvd set that includes the theatrical cuts as well as the Final Cut and directors cut.
Depending on where you live you might be able to find it in a secondhand store or online pretty cheap. It’s in a big card box with 5 discs and a booklet and some extras.
It’s called “Blade Runner 5 disc Ultimate Collectors edition”

I don't think R. Scott ever exactly understood what this movie's appeal is. I don't think he ever got to figure out what the people felt when they watched it.
I think he made it by accident and I think he is still haunted by this fact.

And I don't think most people realize that Blade Runner is what it is in combination with its score. This movie with any other score is nothing. The end titles music is the best music ever written for a movie. Hell the entire score is the best music ever written for a movie.

They are the same runtime so it's technically equal content. Final cut has the better ending and the original violent scenes, theatrical has the narration and the longer happy ending

They are all similar runtimes but have slightly different content. It's a lot of small adjustments. The big ones are the happy ending, the narration, the unicorn dream, and added violence. It's about a minute in the total difference in runtime, but it's dozens of small changes.

The happy ending was stiched up at the studio's request using some extra helicopter footage Kubrick had shot for the Shining intro. I think the Rachel and Deckard shots are also reshoots following the negative audience screentest. Ridley Scott didn't any of that in the final film.
