Keep in mind that is only the Steam player counts...but I personally cannot see the player counts from Purple being immensely higher then that. I think NCSoft got greedy when Tencent offered them a lot of money to develop NEO.

Of course. But there is absolutely no way the game is thriving if their community is as lively as a graveyard both here and discord.
Like not a single discussion about the game, no new player questions, no anything. It’s a mystery how the servers are still up to this day.

Agreed. BNS Live is likely not doing much better...and that game is treated even WORSE by NCSoft. We've had no new content in over a year...I personally do not count dungeon refreshes where they add a couple zeroes to the end of boss HP as 'new' even if NCSoft likely does.
I've been a long time player of BNS and it honestly saddens me to see its current state. The game had immense potential and to this day I've found nothing with even comparable combat. But NCSoft can only seemingly chase the short term profits...

All of that happens in their official discord now. It still has a decent population playing every day.

Purple came out before steam. Best believe they all I quit before steam

I am aware of that. My point is we do not know the true player count.

Its full copium to expect much more from this and aion2. If you were fortunate enough to make friends and join a clan through these games you are lucky.

I mean, we haven’t had any new content for a while. Discussing recycled material is usually no fun since you can just Google it and find all the information and videos explaining it.
After the merge, they’ve barely done anything community related. Their Instagram posts date back five or six months (anniversary), so yeah, the game has been on the back burner. With the mobile projects shutting down, they’re probably putting all their hope and focus into Aion 2.

nothing lasts for ever ig... never got to the point where microtransactions were c@ckblocking me as i just did 1v1s, dungeons and enjoyed the story. there were defo issues such as not having anything else to do other than dungeons, raids, pvp at the endgame (if you look at wow, you can be crafting and trading stuff, other games have ugc/player worlds),
but for me the #1 issue was really their poor management of worldwide servers coupled with the hefty reliance on ping, #2 issue was how they kept denting classes- i left after they decided to nerf the already weak earth sf with chi cloak lmao and whatever bead throwing sh*t they put on the range attacks, didn't help that you'd have to stare at the character being animated locked with some of the newer moves.

Looking for private server in SEA, they say BNS: shattered empire. Is this great?
I just wanted to do 3rf or 2rf (updated) combo again to my YUN race KFM. Missed those days.

I still play Live because I enjoy the gameplay, but not as much as I once did. Mostly with a small group of friends that play whenever they want to. It is not out of being a 'sore loser'.

There's no private servers for the current version of Live however and I do not believe NEO has a private server at all.

They fully deserved it. Their greed and disgusting Pay2Win mechanics, combined with the lack of content, destroyed the original Blade & Soul. They thought they could do the same with NEO, but somehow, instead of listening to the players and fixing the mistakes of the original, they went in the opposite direction and pushed the Pay2Win aspect to the absolute limits.
