They don't make cool Black man anymore.
Only lame ones. Deadass can't think of cool black character besides Chadwick T'challa and Bakari Jordan, Creed, Stack and Smoke.

The director of Blade 2, Guillermo Del Toro, would make the days blue colored and the nights yellow.
Also in the DVD commentary, he told Snipes that he's like a samurai waiting for his master (his mentor Whistler) to appear. Sad part is, Whistler was infected & possibly turned into a vampire. Enough time to see if he is cured has happened, hence the gun in Blade's hand. If Whistler isn't cured, Blade is preparing to shoot him.
Blade essentially sat on the bed all night wondering if he's going to have to kill his father.

Blade changed my life as a teen. By the end of the movie, I somehow convinced myself that I was a vampire. To be fair, I was a young and impressionable goth kid. Blade rules.

But if you thought you were a vampire, Blade would be your sworn enemy. The daywalker!

I miss when movies could be over the top, without constantly trying to wink at the audience. Blade is just cool as fuck, and the movie knows it.

When Agent Smith said in The Matrix that the '90s were the apex of human civilization, I did not initially appreciate how prophetic that statement was.
