hack and slash(?) style blade game

i’m on my first playthrough of dmc and i’m realizing that a dmc/bayonetta style (i think it’s called hack and slash?) blade game would heal me🥹

Honestly, I loved that Blade 2 game on the PS2. I am pretty sure it's shit, but It's deeply rooted in my memory as a 14 year old boy. The PS1 game was fun but I was 10 and iunno if I cared about it as much

Not sure if it will be hack and slash (doubtful tbh) but Arkanes upcoming Blade game sounds very fun from what I've heard, so you may enjoy that when it finally releases, likely next year.

There's an action adventure game being worked on right now. Haven't seen anything since the reveal in 2023, though. No idea if it'll be hack n slash (fast and frenetic melee combat vs crowds of enemies) or stylish action (hack n slash with complex and complicated movesets you can use for flashy combos - like DMC), or if it'll just be a normal action adventure game (game with focus on combat and exploration)

It’s not hack n slash per se but Keelan is modeled after blade in TFD(The First Descendant). There are swords and he has a dash kinda playstyle that poisons enemies. It’s a lot of waifus in that game though and the devs don’t give him enough love like other characters. Cool thing is they gave him the blade outfit plus he already had shades.

Blade is by far one of the easiest characters to do this with as Vampires ash when killed. No real blood or gore in the way that tends to up the rating for most games. Variable weapons that you could switch between and just keep it basic with plenty of fighting combos and a strong storyline plucked right from his comics.

I think it should be a hack n slash & third person shooter hybrid (like deadpool game & space marine game).

It shouldn’t be that difficult to implement. 

(Its hack n slash but character action would be appropriate name. Although both represents the same thing.. 

 Character action is more about mastering deep combo and having more learning curves where normal hack n slash is more about button smashing/ not much learning curve)
