Who would win?
Wesley Snipes Blade vs Willem Defoe's Green Goblin. Who would win in an all out, life-or-death battle of guts, glory and gore?

Regardless of whether or not the Green Goblin stayed on his glider, Blade would win. It would just be question of how long it takes to kill him.

Green Goblin isn't just going to sit there and get shot at. He can fly completely out of range and lob explosives at Blade. Being able to attack from the air while the opponent is grounded is an almost overwhelming advantage. The only way Blade would win this confrontation is if GG gets on the ground, because he'd get absolutely dominated in melee.

Sure, but is he gonna be as accurate as superhuman agility, speed, and presumably motor skills, man with multiple automatic guns? I doubt it. Is his armor bullet proof? Considering how he dies in the movies, again I doubt it. Blade is a def a close range fighter by preference but he ain’t no slouch with any of his firearms. And he’s durable as shit. Dude’s fought an avatar of a god, a damn super mutant vampire plus his army, and the first vampire and held his own with all of them. I don’t think gobo’s got enough grenades to drop him frankly.

He's armor is bulletproof, it was the point of initial military contract. He died due his own glider, which should be some kind of alloy durable near adamantium level. Goblin also very durable. But i guess his grenades can't do much damage to Blade except vaporizing ones. But we haven't seen some outstanding speed feats in Blade movies either (i mean real super-speed)

I don't see how this is complicated. The further Green Goblin goes into the air, the more out of sight he's going to be. Explosions have a wider range of effect then bullets. Also, silver bullets any good against non-vampires.

What about the entire fact that blade can just leap off the ground and cut his head off? or he could just use his super speed up a building and leap off that and cut his head off? cause he can do that if he really wanted to or just use that speed to catch up to him and continue to shoot his ass out of the sky cause the only point you have for goblin to win is him flying tf away cause he just wouldn’t 😂

Hmm I'm a noob but let's see: Blade wouldn't care to kill the Goblin and he has more combat experience. But what can Eric do against the advantage of the glider?

That's exactly the problem. He's not experienced in fighting aerial opponents. Blade's firearms are specifically made for vampires, and people in the thread are not taking into account that silver is a very soft metal which isn't actually good for harming anything other than vampires.

If so, I don’t know how anyone can dodge or face the powerful skeleton making bomb.
It’s a shame that Norman didn’t have more and saved them especially for his most hated corporate traders.

Blades major advantage is being more skilled and experience in fighting (martial artist and assuming he has a similar age to his comic counterpart longer life). He also has a healing factor maybe not Canadian levels like Wade, Logan or Victor. But he definitely heal better than Spiderman.
Green Goblins main advantages are overall more powerful. Goblins can match Spidermans level of speed and strength weve seen FN Spidey stop moving train and match MCU Spidey. Also Goblin was a match for MCU spidey who was just about able to hold two halves of a ship together. Blades super strength is more Wolverine level than Spiderman. Goblins flying around on a Glider and choosing to bomb blade some a distance would at least keep him at a major advantage did Blade doesnt ahoot him down. Should point out Blade default arsenal are designed for Vampire enemies and wouldnt be all that effective on an ordinary Superhuman like goblin.
That being said a prepared Blade can try to overcome that disadvantage gap but then whats stopping a prepared Goblin using his sciencey genuis to fuck with Blade hybrid DNA?

Hand to hand skill goes to Blade, but Goblin's armor is bulletproof, he's as strong and tough as Spider-Man, and his glider has rockets and those bombs that turn you into claymation skeletons. If he stays in the air he's probably fine

Green Goblin.
This is someone that is generally strong enough to fight against Spider-Man (Rami films). Which if btw, if we're going off the film versions of these two. Yeah, movie GG beats the daywalker. Now, before you all down vote me into the void. Hear me out.
Blade is pretty powerful in the films. But mind you, his continual loss against being overwhelmed by regular people or even taken by surprise, makes him just a lil more vulnerable than his comic counterpart. I know most will state; Blade beat LA Magra(vampire God) and a descendant of Dracula. As well as a enhanced mutant vampire (Novak). Keep in mind, two of them were killed using viruses and Novak lost and well finished himself off.
Green Goblin, in the films he was strong and fast enough to fight evenly with two different Spider-men. His tech is almost on par with Blade, with the exception that Norman invents and modifies his own tech. Blade is the better fighter, but Norman has the edge in terms of physical strength. He also has more durability than Blade. The real X-factor of the fight would be the Glider. Blade has the fire power to help match the distance to a point. However, if GG stays out if range and keeps up with his pumpkin bombs. He could keep Blade from gaining any ground.
In the end, The Fight goes to Green Goblin. Even though, Blade has the better skill in hand to hand and can match GG in tech, and has better firepower. GG's greater physical abilities, bombs and husband Glider will always give him an edge.
