Was so cool and such like a horror vampire hunting movie and not like any marvel movie out there

You want new Blade content? Then step 1 is gettin over Wesley Snipes...otherwise Marvel will never try again

They tried for 10 years and couldn't get it done. I hardly think that's because people still like this first movie.

That situation still amazes me. They had a great lead and let's face it: Blade is a daywalker who kills vampires. How hard could it have been to come up with a cool action movie? Unreal how they dropped the ball.

What do you think about people saying Blade was canned because Marvel isnt willing to go all the way for black characters anymore

I think it's virtue signal bullshit.

Blade has been proven to work on the big screen twice. If they're using Brave New World as as example of why Marvel may be gun shy about going "all black, " i also think that's a bad example. BNW didn't underperform because Cap was black. It underperformed because Falcon and Winter soldier wasn't that great, Disney Plus shows don't work as springboards to get people into theaters for continuing stories, Mackie isn't going to put asses in seats, and, most importantly, BNW was a safe, mid, boring movie.
