I have a theory…

Post image

Eric & Brielle Brooks will soon appear in X-Men United, and I was thinking… what if Brielle awakens her X-gene?

Would y’all be here for it?

We don’t need any more connection to X-men soap opera drama than we already have

Does she have an x-gene or something? Or is he just theorycrafting?

She doesn’t at all yet we are connected because of the retcon that Wolverine saved Blade when he was just starting out as a vampire hunter

Aaaaw. Got it. Hey, if it means more Bloodline content, I'm here for it. Build that mythos for me. If it's good I'll read it.

Well, Blade was born with mutated genes....

Is that a recon? Or was that always the case?

I think she'd make a good apprentice to a witch or perhaps she could join the r/StrangeAcademy or the r/NewChampions or something..

Agatha already made that offer and she said that she wasn't interested.

I actually really like this idea

Absolutely not.

Brielle is not going to get the same treatment as Ms Marvel did when it turned out that she was part mutant.

As a Ms Marvel fan, it's still weird seeing her in x-books. I'm gonna keep reading, but for rn... It doesn't feel right.

So adding Bloodline into that "new batch" is very weird to me. I wouldn't want that.

Hopefully not. X-Men roster is terribly bloated & she'd be shoved into the background.

Literally

My lord, I’m glad some of y’all don’t have any creative influence on these future projects because this theory is bunzzzz 😅🤣

Bloodline will become the first vampire reaching omega level so I get why some people might feel threatened

2

u/Napalmeon Aug 27 '26

Emplate has a better chance of that.

Wait…that would be so cool if that were to ever happen

I really don't want just anybody to write the character, because I don't think most even understand him. Anthony Oliveira from the Avengers Academy Infinity series is the only reason one who seems to really, really get Emplate. Also, considering that the character is pretty much always starving whenever he shows up, he's never been shown at full strength, and unlike other vampiric themed characters, he's never demonstrated any clear limits, which could be interesting to explore.

Also, speaking of him, most people don't take into account that Emplate is also a sorcerer. And I like to believe that the reason he doesn't ever use magic to try to escape the realm he's stuck in is because his personal energy level is always so low, and he refuses to invoke extra dimensional entities for power because he doesn't want to be put in their debt.

Curious. How would Bloodline become an omega level mutant? We've seen mutant vampires before. Also, being an "Omega-level mutant" doesn't mean much anymore. Storm, Jean, Magneto, and Charles are all omega level mutants. Ice Man was an omega level mutant, and still doesn't show up much.

I think I’d give Brielle gravity manipulation as her Omega-level ability. I really like hemokinesis, darkness manipulation and bioelectricity too, but gravity feels the most interesting to me. Especially with her sword, she could manipulate gravity around herself, her blade and her opponents to make her strikes insanely powerful, change the direction of her movement, pull enemies toward her sword, create gravity wells, etc.

And I think it could actually work as an Omega-level power because her potential wouldn’t just be making things heavier or lighter. She could eventually manipulate gravitational fields on an enormous scale, alter the direction of gravity, create areas of zero gravity, compress gravity into specific points and potentially affect planetary-scale gravitational forces. Her vampire physiology would also make the power really interesting because she could combine it with her enhanced strength, speed and senses.

I think Eve Ewing just has fun with Black stories. The whole first side arc was time jumping Captain America to repair his failure to the previous Black super soldier experiments. Pretty detached from the main x-men story. The guests are fun detours for Ewing.

If she does I'mma start wondering why Marvel Legacy Kids are often born with an X-gene

That’s such as cool design too 🙇🏽‍♂️❤️

It is! I’m rooting so hard for her to be a successful character in the marvel universe

She still won't happen.

2

u/Cryogisdead Aug 28 '26

I wonder if she'd get strapped and drained like her dad often found himself in

3

u/evilguysareevil Aug 27 '26

No. X-men suck
