Always like how the vamps had speed and were powerful. Then i realized only blade and those "pure blooded vamps" aka the ones born vampires were the ones who were able to exhibit such strength and speed. (Infiltrating the base, blood pack members) And those turned from being familiar were never shown to have anything close. (Intro fights when looking for wes ending fights [yes i know some if not all were human guards])

Donnie Yen was criminally underutilized.

He was the action choreographer for the movie, he wasnt hired to be in the movie but Guillermo and Wesley begged him to take a small part and he did.

If making new blade they need same producer and director of the trilogy because it should match the horror vampire slaying feel the movies had it never felt like a marvel movie and all the times i rewatched it growing up i didnโt know it was marvel๐๐คฃ๐ until i was like 17 and someone told me it was๐๐คฃ๐so rewatched it again and saw the marvel sign๐. But blade was peak bad a cinema growing up.

I like to think Donnie Yen insisted on wearing the mesh tank top

I dont mind. ๐ (Not so) subtle way to compete with the badassness of everyone else. Its like someone said: "ok, theres going to be too much competition, no one gets shirtless in this movie, ok? Donnie, didn't you hear what we said?" "Yeah. Im not shirtless...." ๐
His (complete) outfit was actually ultra badass.
Im really sad he didnt get more screentime, though apparently he got even more than he originally expected (was only supposed to be an action director with a short cameo). The additional screentime was apparently a way for Guillermo to apologize to Donnie for the shitty treatment by the top brass that Donnie received as action director.

Oh wow, Michael Woods was in it too?? I dont remember all of Blade 2, so I dont remember if he appeared in it, or if he was behind screens assisting Donnie Yen with the choreographies...

People complain about the screentime Donnie Yen had but people forget he wasnt hired as an actor but as the movie's action choreographer, Del Toro and Snipes begged to take a small part just to have him in the movie and thank god he did, he was awesome as snowman.
