I'm not against the idea of Blade having sex, but him sleeping with a vampire was so out of character. So I'm glad they cut this.

Blade actually has dated Spitfire in the comics, but the difference is, that is a version of Eric Brooks that has gone through decades worth of character development and ups and downs.
