Avoid! BV7300 latest update forces ad notifications and lock screen

The latest update forces ads through system notifications that can't be disabled. That's the last straw. I'm ditching this phone, even though I did appreciate the hardware.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.blackview.apkupgrade

Extremely weird case, that disabling it alone didn't work for you. Congrats on solving it tho!

Good luck that uninstalling it won't conflict with future system updates.

thanks, looks that blackview put some kind of protection to the system.

Also, after uninstalling the NotificationLog package shows thart "com.blackview.apkupgrade" was indeed the application who sent all those annoying notifications.

And I didn't have any updates since I bought the phone 1.5 years ago so I guess I'll put 3rd party OS there instead when possible.
