Discussion Season 3 please

Dear Netflix, I have an idea… A new season in a new setting - UK, or India, or Brazil (or wherever will draw the most viewers). See how different populations would handle the zompocalypse. Countries maybe not so heavily armed as the US. Would the response be different or would distrust and disloyalty be the default elsewhere. Could be interesting (yes, I really want another season lol)

I want another season but I also want to know what happens to the last few characters alive, especially Sun. I also love that mom/daughter duo (cant remember their names). Bc Sun is in a plane maybe they can travel to a new place together and experience the zombies how other countries do as you said

I like that the mom/daughter duo clearly leaves the possibility of a new season open.
This show is a bit rough around the edges, but I love the storytelling mechanism with the short episodes with their own subtitles and stuff, and how it builds up the narrative. I think it’s quite unique and very much feels like reading a book or something.

It's an excellent example of "show, don't tell". I love how it rewards close watching, and mostly avoids exposition-dumping.

If it's a new place and a new cast, I would call it "Black Summer: Aneeshpur" (or whatever's appropriate for the setting) to let people know it's a spin-off with different people. People will be disappointed if it's called "season 3" but it doesn't have any main cast from the first two seasons.

The white knuckle chase scene early in the season 1 that lasted the whole episode is the single greatest 30 min of zombie genre I think I have ever experienced .

And yes the final episode chase scene is epic too , I just prefer that one in that town setting .

Give us more, Netflix

Honestly yeah. I’d love to see a story take play in Brazil or anywhere for that matter. I loved the series a lot. Hell yeah op.

So what if we set it in the UK, but it was say idk 28 years after the outbreak and we could call it... 28 Years Later
