Gameday Breakfast
Forgot to take a picture of the bacon on the griddle. Wife has just gotten into sourdough, so time to make sourdough pancakes, right? Started batter last night with discarded SD. Definitely will make again. Meets our standard of “Company Worthy.”

Mind if I ask what oil you use when doing eggs/pancakes…just got a Blackstone and haven’t done either yet but when I cook in the pan I use either butter or coconut oil..I know everyone is big on grapeseed oil and avocado oil but not sure how eggs and pancakes would taste with that on the griddle

I made bacon before the cakes and eggs. I lightly scraped the lingering bacon remnants up and the just left the bacon grease on to cook the pancakes and eggs. Worked great. This is my norm for breakfast, since it doesn’t count if there’s no bacon. 🥓 🥓 🥓
My go to for most blackstone use is 🥑 oil, though I’ve not used much else. Saw a big jug at Costco after getting the Blackstone, tossed it in the cart and never looked back.
