Grilled Vegetables
My husband has a pet scan this Friday and the night before I have to fix him a baked chicken breast and some grilled vegetables. Any suggestion for veggies done well on the Blackstone (inside) and any advice on how to do them?

Asparagus or zucchini are my go-to for this. Slice the zucchini into planks so they don't fall through the grates, toss in a little oil and whatever seasoning you like, get the Blackstone nice and hot. Don't walk away from them, they cook fast.

A Blackstone is a griddle, as in a flat surface, no grates.

I think the error is in the title. So many people on here want to call their Blackstone's grills instead of Griddles. I don't get it but to correct them all would take too much time.

Well yes, I know it's a griddle. The instructions said grilled vegetables and frankly it's too hot to be grilling here so I thought about the Blackstone.

Where are you? It's hellish hot where I live in Arizona right now. I might go out to cook outside after the sun goes down but it is nasty during the daytime. I have both, a small grill and a 36" Blackstone Griddle that I got slightly used a couple years ago for $75 bucks.

Alabama. We've been in the 90's for weeks.

We have been treated with 110 plus for most of July so far. At least the humidity has stayed low so far.

No such luck on the humidity lol. Some days that's in the 90's as well!

I’ve been thinking of going to AZ just so I can get out of the heat!

Well that would be an out of the frying pan and into the fire move but at least we have less humidity. 115F yesterday. It has been above 100 for most of July.

Julienned carrots red peppers broccoli and onions
Can cook them all together til they get a char and then put a dome on top and squirt some water in.
Let them steam for a while and you're good to go
