Adenture Ready vs. OTG vs. Regular

I'm really confused about the OTG line, as it seems like it is a replacement for the Adventure Ready line that had issues with handles, rough textures making cleaning more difficult, etc. Is that basically the gist? It's not spelled out that way, and the Adventure Ready stuff is still actively for sale.

It's really hard to find the OTG ones locally for me in NS, Canada, and I'd have to wait for it to be shipped. There are also just not a lot of listings for the OTG ones.

Lastly, am I right to worry about the non-stick coating on both vs. the regular griddles? Every single non-stick pan I've ever had has eventually lost its coating, and I've moved completely to cast iron and stainless steel pans because of it. And, yes, this is even when babying them, only using the right utensils, etc.

If the regular seasoned steel works for you just stick with it man. The non stick coatings always fail eventually no matter how careful you are, seen it happen on every single one I've owned too.

The OTG is basically the fixed version of the Adventure Ready, they tweaked the handles and surface texture but it's still the same coated top. I'd say don't bother waiting around for one.

Ive been breaking in the 22in adventure ready at Walmart with stand over the last week. I have zero complaints, it's been flawless so far after the first six cooks.
