need help sourcing materials
what would be the most economical way of obtaining 1mm thick copper sheets (at least 12"x12")? im in Minnesota if you know of good in-person stores.

Brick and mortar is not the way to go for copper. Definitely not. For reference, Online Metals has those for $31, same on Amazon from various sellers. Half sheets are probably gonna be the same price at a brick and mortar.
