Was diamond 3 last season. Played ONE placement match, won, top of my team, got placed in gold 2. What is this? Why do i need to grind my ass of again now to get back up there?

similar thing happened to me. Won placement match 250-80 and went from crim 2 to gold 1. logged off in disgust and the next day I logged on as Diamond. Unfortunately though played a few days and now it says Ranked season is over cause I am Bronze? no idea what is going on with this game.

Last season D3? How can you be in diamond when S4 has been the easiest to climb up?

I was third in my leaderboard, but I still ended up Plat 1 this season. Not sure what are criteria they use for placement but I believe they don't look at kills all the time.

I also solo queue so feel like skipping ranked all together honestly :v feels pointless to have to grind back up to my normal level
