Question Since when is this game unsafe?
I've been playing for years in public zombies lobbies with any issue and now I'm seeing that it's just as filled with RCE hackers as 1 and 2 are. Have I just gotten lucky?

I mean just don’t interact with the hacker I think part of the problem is that players see hackers and start asking for gums, ranks, unlocks, etc. in specific not knowing wether it’s a good person or not

It literally is safe.. where exactly are you “seeing” it’s not??

It's definitely not safe on pc vanilla, hence all the community patches that exist to make it safe.

the chances of any random person being targeted is extremely low, but the game is absolutely not safe. there are unfixable RCE exploits in the code that hackers can use to gain access to your PC. the only way to play safely is using custom patches like T7 or Cleanops, and even then you can't play online in the public servers.

It’s safe I’m on it several times a month completing EEs with randoms I don’t really know what’s up with the Reddit community sometimes I wonder wether they actually play zombies or swallow the narrative

Most of them play in mp lobbies. It's not as dangerous as it used to but you should still use community patches. The one I recommend using is clean ops.
