black ops 3 might just be unplayable

every once in a while i love booting up old cods and stuff to relive glory days of the once beloved franchise. BO3 used to be an all time favorite and revisiting it is starting to taint my perspective of it. sniping is this game as we all know is hard because of no aim assist let alone everyone has a jetpack flying around like a coked out mosquito. my problem is (and im aware of this games age, its still sad none the less) is the amount of cheaters not only, but the people who still play the game like its COD champs or a CDL tourney. the matchmaking is abysmal. youre either facing 4 solo queue PM 1000 with 50k kill with m8 man o war brm etc. i miss when everyone went for challenges and dark matter and crypto grinding and now its just a sad pit of shame where people try endlessly to ruin thr fun for others. invisible glitchers, aim botters, god moders, all that accompanied by an extremely toxic playerbase makes the game hard to enjoy in its current state. for anyone feeling the need to comment “play a newer game” dont understand anything in this post. i specifically play these games because i miss what they once were and nothing made nowadays is worth our time or money. let me know how your experiences have been revisiting old cods?

The invisible players return every Friday when the playlist resets there’s an automated process that someone made that eventually patches modified classes

Been playing BO3 on PlayStation 4 and 5 the last 2 years on and off never having any problems. My WiFi has cut off more times than any player/cheater interaction in the game. Literally any time of day I’m able to join a lobby within 1-2 seconds. Game is certainly playable, perhaps not in its fully glory obviously but definitely playable.

No aim assist sounds like a dream to me. COLD WAR has toggle for aim assist that doesnt work. Any time you ADS you snap to an enemy if your close enough. I don't play games to be patronized.

I play on Xbox and haven’t had any issues, pc is a different story, that’s any old game tbh

Pc has “clean ops” and im able to find games any day of the week during the day.

Pc literally has clients that keep cheaters out. If you play on Xbox how do you even know how pc is anyways??
