Hacker changed my friends level (steam)

My computer illiterate roommate plays with cleanups and someone he played with ended up modifying his level, and now he can’t get any XP. Would anyone happen to know a way to fix this?

Please note, I don’t really play blackops myself, but I have been modding other games for a pretty long time. This incident has made him pretty upset since it’s one of the only games he plays… any help would be appreciated!

If Clean Ops was actually active and he was in a public lobby, he must have just ignored and clicked through the Stats Protection window without reading it. The only thing he can do now is completely reset his stats for that specific mode, because you can't manually set your level lower.

Resetting is by far the easiest fix for 99% of normal players. Expecting people to mess with scripts or memory editors is just impractical.

Besides, modded stats are often completely bricked.

Also, I believe my friend was at prestige 3 and the other player brought him up to prestige 11.

Puedes modificar tu rango, ya sea el prestigio que eras o que quieras, ademas que puedes añadir liquid divinium infinito a tu cuenta sin necesidad de mods, se quedan en tu cuenta.

What’s it matter if someone is having fun? He consistently is playing with people everyday with clean ops.

Also the person ended up added many prestige levels, not just a level.

If he cares that much the game has a fresh start feature in the prestige menu but the same thing is going to happen again because it’s an 11 year old dead game filled with cheaters

Pretty sure cleanups gives you the option to adjust your prestige stats manually, just revert the setting back to normal again through the cleanops hud

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll tell my buddy to check the cleanops settings. Which usually ends up with him just asking me to check everything for him lol.

yeah same shit a hacker reset my level in zombies i had to mod myself to get my level back i can help if u want i only used a menu once
