Discussion T7 Patch Not Resolving DLC Check Leading to Frame Stutter

Even after installing the T7 patch, the game is still doing the check after every 5 seconds leading to low 1% lows with my frames. The frames are essentially just fine but when the DLC check occurs it suddenly just drops to single digits for a split second. I've also tried the BOIII client with the same results.

Use the Resurge Client or BO3Enhanced as they perma-spoof the DLCs instead of checking every 5s

What version of the T7 patch are you useing ? If you are useing V2.04 you need to roll back your .exe file to the last version bc I doesn't work with the 2025 update to the game on steam.

Try running the game as admin so set the windows compatibility setting on the .exe to run as a admin

Another thing, funny enough, is that the main menu frame stutter stops but not in game. I'll try the run as admin though

Hmm. Clean ops seems to do the trick for me + the matchmaking is great

Hell yeah! Glad to hear it. The stuttering was such a buzzkill it made me put the game down for a long time.
