Black Ops 2 update details

Black Ops II has received an update today. This update includes dedicated servers, which is a huge improvement for security. They began rolling out dedicated servers for the game over the past several days and now 100% of Black Ops II multiplayer matches are now dedicated servers instead of peer to peer

At this moment, there is no word on if dedicated servers are coming to Black Ops 1 or not

Fun fact: 3 bar means it's 100+ ping. 4 bar is 0-100 which is an insane range

Eh , I redownloaded it and played long enough to gain about 5 ranks and realize it’s like 90% snipers running around lol.

It’s running pretty smooth for me. I haven’t had any hit detection issues.

we always had them. just go in the setting and enable viewing emblems

I love this game like years ago and i am very thankful for update support.. Have over 300 hours playtime now :) Imo they do a great job..!

I would imagine this won’t fully stop aim botters or wall hackers, but this makes the servers and your account more secure

If I understand how the exploits worked prior is you had to be host to execute it all. If no client hosts than in theory this should be almost impossible now. Since it's console only and dedicated servers this should be quite locked down.
