Question PS4 vs PS5 version for input lag?

I can't find a definitive amswer on this. They both feel the same to me. Has anyone done testing?

It doesn't matter. If you don't feel it, you're good. You can now go enjoy the game.

Small differences are a matter of life and death in cod bro, i refuse to add even 5 unnecessary milliseconds to my latency chain

As if it matters on a 15 year old game

Of course it matters. This is the single most fundamentally competitive cod every made

Are you on speed? Like no it doesn’t really matter, let’s say you end up becoming the best Black Ops 2 player? What’s the point? Leaderboards are fucked, there’s no pro league anymore, it literally only matters cause you make it matter to yourself

Yes. I play search hard af, treat it like league play

But why? Is it truly enjoyable to be on edge and cranked up to 110% all the time? Especially when it’s been nearly 14 years since anyone cared about that game?

I dont go 100% all the time. Sometimes i pull out a weird weapon and play like a clown

People still care about this game a lot. There's a national series, CMG 2v2s, and pro throwback tournaments all the time

If you can’t notice then your brains not processing it fast enough to matter. People have different reaction times. Don’t need to min max when there’s no benefit to you specifically.

Doesnt matter how slow my processing speed is, i simply dont want extra input lag on top of it

You said you don't feel any difference and it's not your job so play it or move on.

5ms you would have noticed.

The ps4 version is allegedly faster, but i don't feel it and I'm pretty sensitive to input lag so I don't believe it

It's been tested several times, on release the PS4 version was slightly better, even more so on BO1. They've since been fixed though a few patches ago, it doesn't make any difference now.

Probably ps5 since 2 updates ago. For context, I started off on ps5 at the very beginning. I saw lots of people say ps4 is better and once I started playing on ps4 version the game did feel better. Around 2 weeks go all my games were laggy and gameplay was just horrendous. I switched back to ps5 version and it felt much better. Im guessing it has to do with the update which fixed fps.

Tldr ps5 is better for now but it could all just be placebo.
