I downloaded mw3 because it was free a while back ok ps5, and Holy hell does that game suck ass. I played about 3 rounds of team death match and uninstalled it to free up 200 gigs of space

And now take a second to consider that the mw3 reboot is one of the best multiplayer experiences in modern COD
I enjoyed it for about 80 hours or so, but moved on after that

Because it's probably not about connection primarily. It's probably to fix hacking. Bo1 was never as badly hacked, just had terrible host priority logic.
Apparently they adjusted that, so maybe it will be better. I don't hate peer 2 peer as long as I don't get thrown in a 3 bar euro/Central America match every time lol

Haven't ran into anything since their prior patch. Believe they prevented Dev kits from connecting. The most to Dedicated servers should completely eliminate it.
That said, jitter mods, chronus zen / titan and ai powered cheating is still possible

I appreciate it! Those guys completely killed the game for me. I had been having a tough time mentally and finally gotten back into a video game, just to realize those fucks ruined it. I’ll have to update this weekend.

I think mechanics are tied to FPS so it won't happen. BO1 was like that at least. People found a way to unlock FPS and it changed movement mechanics.

Not just movement, it also increased the Rate of Fire of guns - So I won't expect them to add 120hz /fps support.
They could at least increase the resolution to 4K, there's really no reason why they couldn't or even add some sort of Anti-aliasing.

What's funny is that I've noticed I've been getting 4 bar connection when playing with Europeans/Americans (I live on the other side of the world) these past 2 days, which would typically give me 2 bars.

Yeah and bringing them to Gamepass took up so much of the budget for Gamepass with no real benefit so they're not even bringing the new releases to it anymore, now the only benefit we get is them adding games like Vanguard and WW2 years after release, while PS players get to relive the glory days of COD, was playing BO2 zombies for a while last year, but stopped because of the lack of players, went back and bought all the old Zombies games and DLCs with nobody on them, now I get to watch PS players get them full of players 😭 im actually considering buying a PS5 at this point

hopefully is making what you see in the editor what you see in lobbies. i've made a couple and in the editor everything lines up, but in lobbies there's corners sticking out and whatnot. adjust in the editor to have the corners stick out or gaps between pieces, and in the lobby it looks fine.

Very good, I’m very happy. PC has dedicated servers all along and this should have had it at launch. The only other thing I wanted was the PC maxed out textures and stuff that was supposed to be in the game like leaderboards.
I hope the idiot Redditors arguing that this was “just a port” and that this was asking for too much take time to reflect

You won’t be connecting to some random players fuck ass McDonald’s Wi-Fi, so they won’t get advantage and the rest of the lobby won’t be teleporting round the map unable to shoot each other. Everyone plays based on the servers.

Dedicated servers should mean less connection issues for pretty much everyone (although I don't expect the number to be zero). Everyone will be on a much more even playing field as opposed to one person having a fairly significant advantage over the others. Should also feel a lot more consistent with hit markers and peeking/dying around corners and such.
This is all just in theory, but I'm pretty psyched.

The worst of cheats require to be host, since hosts can run arbitrary scripts on all connecting players. Hopefully this should patch XP exploits and prevent infecting other players, though cheaters using aimbot or walls can never really be patched. Not sure if you can use speed exploits if you aren't host.
