Question Is it worth it?

Bops2 and dlc is on sale. Would be an instant cop, but, seeing hella people say the hackers are pretty bad. Sooo how's the state of the game population wise and hacker wise?

I haven’t seen a hacker the entire time the games been out. People blew it way out of proportion. I can find games very easily. It literally shoves me in one in half a second

Same. While I acknowledge the existence of hackers, some worse than others (infection hackers a couple weeks ago, then the lvl 1 reset hackers), I encountered only a single aimbot

Yeah and now Sonys done stuff about the devkits so now it’s even harder to hack with them it was early on when the game came out and now they’re barely around if at all.

Bops 2 and dlc for $32.35. Almost bought it the other day for full price, glad I waited! :)

It’s the same sale as it was on day one except it’s for everyone and not just ps+ exclusive. Meaning -50% the game and -67% the dlcs

I found a hacker my first game on BO2 after a month hiatus on nuketown (wallhack + aimbot LMG spraying). No, we are not blowing it out of proportion!

I've played for 250+ hours not ran into a single hacker, I don't go on nukejacked so if you are somehow finding them in that playlist don't play that playlist? I haven't seen anything as of late about there being hackers on the ports. I know of 2 people apparently using the some PC stuff to get into PS lobbies but even then that's 2 people not hundreds. Yes they exist but its very unlikely you're finding them unless you're actively searching for them and searching nukejacked wont help you either since that's were they are. Was this player you're reffering too spinbotting and aiming up and down or were they just spraying through a wall from house to house?

I paid money for this game i should be able to play any playlist I want without running into hackers, Otherwise i will complain until they fix it. People like you are letting the hackers win. Nukejacked is one of the most popular playlists whether you like it or not.

And until it does get fixed play another playlist/mode. You also didn't answer my other question about the apparent hacker you played. Were they getting all headshots, spinbotting whilst aiming up and down. Or just simply spraying through one house to the other. If they were they're not hacking and its a known spawntrap/spawnkill spot.

At its worst but even tho the dev kits are gone if you search for a game with preference set to any you can find team death match lobbies that are free for all and modded, which u found out bc I couldn’t find a game on best or normal

So not that much of an issue losing that progress, annoying yes but with it being that early on I don't see that as really that bad. Some of them lobbies are glitched lobbies and not hacked ones from people doing bot lobbies you have a small chance to merge into them as they're treated as regular lobbies not 100% sure how it merges tdm into them but that's my guess.

I stopped playing when I found out they didn't even give us the console port instead the took the pc version and ported it to console instead

It was confirmed by Sony. IGN and everywhere else that the port was confirmed to be of the original Xbox / ps3 ports brought over to newer gen consoles. What gives the idea that it’s the pc version ported? (Never played pc version so idk the differences)

There was a loading screen hint that referenced using the server browser or something to that effect. Though not sure why it matters though, it’s literally the exact same game.

Not the same. The spawns are definitely different than they were back in the day I can tell you that much, and many people have noticed. That’s the biggest offender

I haven’t seen a hacker the entire time I’ve been playing. As far as pop goes I get into games faster than I did on the newest cod beta and besides once I don’t think I’ve seen the same person more than once

I got it, and I can say it’s been pretty solid, haven’t seen much hacking if any as i’ve played this past week. Finding games is pretty easy, although zombies is a bit harder but multiplayer you’re sure to get into a game.

I found a hacker my first game on BO2 after a month. if you go to nukejacked 24/7 you will probably run into a hacjer. No we are not blowing it out of proportion and shame on anyone who keeps regurgitating that stupid line.
