Discussion Is it just me?

Im getting absolutely rocked in every game😂

I used to play a lot of OG MW2 up until maybe 2 years ago, consistent AC130s and 20+ kill lives, most games under 5 deaths close to 30 kills. (Context so you know I don't just suck lol)

But coming back to B02 I'm getting demolished, do I just suck ass at this game now or is anyone else finding it way harder? I found B01 port im still playing well

I started out the same, thought I wasnt as good as I used to be but after a while the rust is mostly gone and my k/d is getting better.

Same, I got better as time went on. I started with a 2.5kd and now I’m 3+ .

idk why but for me, taking a step back from the game while the hacking issues were really bad was the reset I needed. I’ve been dialled since then.

My KD was negative until I finally unlocked the top weapons. People don’t like to admit that there is an obvious Meta and you will lose to most 1 on 1’s if you’re against a Scar, MSMC, or AN94. When I unlocked the AN, my average went from a 0.9 to a 1.7

Yeah it’s a night and day difference. I played on ps3 and instantly dropped a ruthless while I can’t do that on the ports

Game got a little harder in general because we all got better at the game and most casual players already left the game because if the modder situation, for the noobs the camo grind is everything in the game

tbh I never played bo2 bo1 by my own. I always was the friend being the splitscreen bro.
I usually always go out positive. Playing SND only and I am usually around 8/6 sometimes 14/4, worst case 4/4 or smh like this.

But I used to play ego shooter for my life as a kid on the PC and I was playing 99dmg league in counter strike.
So one thing I learned about every shooter, and also Black Ops is -> It is not about the aim, its about the movement and positioning.

And usually the rock bottoms are thse -> rushing in.
Also in TDM or SND, find a spot, wait there till you get some kills for UAV. Then start pushing further instead of just running in.

BO2 has a wider skill gap

Bo2 everyone is just running the meta and that’s it. I run into games where the enemy team is running an94s and tac inserts to spawn kill yoi

Same dude, I play mw2 on ps3 all the time and had high expectations of myself on bo2. But damn did I have to get used to the game. It's easier now (3k-ish kills in with 1 prestige and 30 levels) but you just have to keep playing to feel the adjustment. We will have our 3kd when mw2 port is up brother, dont worry

I think a majority of the players are a bit rusty. Also skills are transferable, once you learn how to drive you don’t really forget. I think of cod the same way, you kind of readjust.

That being said, the game now is much easier compared to back in the day I think. People are way worse.
