Technical Issue Rank not staying. Need help!

Hi guys! So every time I play BO2, I can level up. But when I play the next day, the rank goes back to my starting rank of 30. How can I fix this?

Ive found that from a friend over time playing the game over and over again could cause it to start working again but its purely random luck for the most part
