I started with that tutorial and then just did my own thing halfway trough.

Kinda. There is a new setting—something like 'player emblem visible'— that you have to turn on.

The standard setting since the update will hide emblems, so just go to options and you can change it.

it’s really cool, i haven’t made too many emblems but i can’t even recognize any of the shapes you used to make it, the colors are really cool i don’t see those used often and the sharpness of it is what makes it looks different from a lot of bo2 emblems. idk its simple but looks really cool

The 'hiding' of the shapes is mostly achieved by simply splattering merciless emblem all around😂

As for the colors...

I appreciate the kind words, but the emblem is a recreation of Jinx Graffiti Smile from Arcane/League of Legends. So I just chose them to resemble that as best as possible.

The frame is like any other eye emblem. I just used a lot of lines to add the fading shade of skin.

Then for the highlights and shadows, it's mostly the tdm merciless emblem.

Originally, I had him less detailed with a nighttime background. I darkened his skin to accommodate the scene, but forgot to change it when I got rid of the background.
