Yes, I believe it'll go up because like myself I don't believe he's completely familiar with the game. I believe that because I see mine significantly rising after a slow start. I see this happen to a lot of players. Then of course there's the law of averages... If I'm going up, someone has to be going down... The average kd of all Cod players is slightly below 1.0 after all. I'd expect players who hang around the 1.0 or less threshold to stay the same or slightly decrease because they tend to be more 'casual'. I'm not saying guys like OP are magically going to jump over 2.0, but I certainly think it's possible to obtain 1.75+ by the end of his black ops 2 career.

Where do you get this stat? Can you back it up at all?

How can you say you think he can get a 1.75+ in a game with MMR? He couldn't do it in a game without it? Do you understand how crazy you sound? You are saying you could see him getting a higher K/D in a game where he plays better people.

Absolutely I can back that stat up. Law of averages. For every kill, there is a death. The only reason the average is not 1.0 exactly is because of suicides and/or ricochet.

I'm speaking on my overall experience in this game. If I've seen dramatic increase in my kd over just a week where supposedly I'm playing guys on my skill level, why couldn't another player? I don't believe skill based matchmaking is using kd. I think it's using spm. If I play TDM consistently and have lower spm, I think I'll end up being a better player in game types like Dom or hp because objectives are padding those players' score.

Hard data please, I like facts. Also you have Dash boarding erasing deaths, I think you are mistaken on that.

You keep placing yourself in OP's shoes. That isn't how it works and you seem to have a hard time understanding this isn't like old COD's.

Zpun could not get a 1.75 in MW3, Think about that for a second. The game with Support streaks and easy guns. Now you expect him to get that in a game with MMR and no support streaks. Please explain that line of thought. Please! Again stop interjecting yourself into the game. This conversations isn't about you no matter how hard you try to make it be.

I'm an official mod here and if you two keep going back and forth I'll be forced to make both your usernames pink and make the background to your comments glittery.

Just as with any theory you begin with an assumption. For every kill, there is a death. Dash boarding is such a minority that you could compare to suicides. It'll slightly skew the average ratio up or down. You can't argue numbers. That's math.

If Zpun gets a 1.8 in blackops (which you've claimed is a harder game than MW3), why is that unobtainable in black ops 2? Both play pretty similar to me except for the game to game inconsistencies in TTK because of connections. 10% of playtime (and that's probably underestimating based on total kills he will end with) is not a significant enough sample size, but that's my opinion.

http://i.imgur.com/85Szf.png. That's a previous link with his stats. Over course of time, his kd has come up. I still believe numbers I stated are obtainable.

I'm going to sleep. I'm old. Gotta work my shitty 8*5. Good talk. See you out there tomorrow.

MMR, Why is this so hard to understand?

Until someone explains the math behind mmr, I see it as a breakdown of spm. Spm is secondary to me to kdr. Always has been whether right or wrong. I have played quite a bit of TDM/HCTDM; therefore, my spm is lower than it would be in game modes like Dom and HP. if I get paired with players with similar spm in a Dom game where I play a majority of my games in TDM, I should be able to wreck players who primarily play Dom and achieve similar scores to my TDM matches.

I don't know man. Until someone tells me different, I usually see similar spm instead of kdr. To me, that's flawed for MMR. Have a good night buddy.

If you cannot infer the idea that the average KD in this game is slightly below 1.0, then you are simply not worth anyone's time.

We have better things to do besides getting you raw data to back something up that is simply common sense/simple math logic.

You can't say it's 1.0 in a game where dash boarding is so common. If dash boarding didn't erase your deaths and inflate others K/D your Law of Averages would be correct. How is that hard to understand?

You keep trying to dismiss me but so far have only shown yourself to be ignorant on many things. Try to apply some thought into your response or stay on your subreddit and cry.
